Purdue University continues to be a leader in applying Internet

technology to serving the needs of both current and prospective students.

Direct Knowledge built a custom e-commerce system (IPS), that has been deployed at Purdue's West Lafayette and Calumet campuses. Students can make an online credit card payment for items ranging from tuition to parking fees. IPS is integrated into Purdue's Oracle-based student information system so that purchase and return transactions are properly reflected on student accounts. Credit card transactions are processed in real-time via CyberCash.
